When the cursor blinks,

4

The blinking cursor

Inviting, taunting.

Words that beg to escape –

A restless heart cries

and pleads.

The blinking cursor –

Inviting, taunting.

Confused, jaded –

a beautiful mind tired,

and spent.

The blinking cursor –

Freeing, releasing.

Feelings and thoughts –

Wed into cantos

and verses.

The blinking cursor

Freeing, releasing.

Solace and ease –

In blinking cursors, found

and seen.
